You don't come here for the ambience. You walk into a big room with a few regular tables, mostly high top tables and one long table for large parties. You go up to the pizza display cabinet and order either slices or whole pies. They have about 12 different pies that you can order by the slice. There is no service other than where you order your pie. I had a plain cheese slice. It was the best I have had so far in SD. It is the closest thing to NY pizza, but it falls short. The sauce is good, but it is missing something in the flavor. Overall, it is worth a try. There is on street parking which is not all that plentiful. We went during the day and that could make all the difference.

Was in the mood for a meat lovers pizza, was thinking of going to Bronx Pizza but then I realized there was a Luigi's Pizzeria in North Park. I lived near one in Golden Hills. The closest thing they had was the El Diablo, which was a meat lovers plus garlic, jalapeños, Sriracha, and buffalo sauce. I ordered that and a pepperoni and pesto to balance it out. I would've preferred a straight up meat lovers, but the balance was good. I'll be coming back. Same vibe as gold and decent beer selection. This one is popular because it's next to the Lafayette hotel and another dive bar two doors down.

Our fav europe pizza spot in all of San Diego. The portions are great large slices and is the best New York style thin crust!! We initially tried it as it was on Diners Drive in and Dines with Guy Fieri on Food Network and they have a signed painting of him on the wall. They offer full pizzas or pizza by the slice. My absolute favorite and it a crowd pleaser is the crime scene with meat balls ricotta and red sauce on top so not super heavy on the sauce, They have great local beers as well! The inside usually isn't too crowded for seating as there are lots of tables and outside seating as well even if the line is long as many people are getting a slice to go or eat quickly. Perfect spot for either a quick bite or a whole meal with a large group.

Great pizza and the customer service is also always the best. Definitely recommend if you are in the area.

This place rocks!! Literally, great music and pizza selection. Cool vibe with a great microbrewery selection of beers. Try the crime scene, it's the best pizza in San Diego and their proprietary pie.

El Cajon Blvd's location. Street parking is metered. Seating is available indoors and out. Staff are friendly and service is good. This place is one of my favorite pizza spots. I usually get pizza by the slice for the variety and I have loved all of the ones I have tried to date.

Great pizza spot! Stopped in here for a bite to eat after leaving a bar down the road. They have a case of pizzas that you can order by the slice, and then a menu full of full pizzas, calzones, sandwiches and more. I ordered a slice of the mushroom ricotta pizza, a slice of jalapeño, pepperoni and ricotta pizza, and a couple garlic knots. The mushroom ricotta pizza was my favorite! It was so good! The garlic knots and pepperoni slice were also great. The staff was very nice, even with how busy they were!

Huge servings at reasonable prices - both the pizza and calzones were fantastic! You can get pizza by the slice as well.

I was really excited to try this place on the hill In San Diego! Guy Fieri came to this location to check them out for their pizza by the slice. There is definitely a reason why he added this spot to his list. It did not disappoint as they had an array of pizza flavors that was hard to chose when it came to making a decision. I couldn't go with 1 so I went with 2 . I got the Detroit style pizza slice and the Leonardo slide with some garlic knots. There was a line but it went by fast. The only thing that was difficult was the parking but I would get them again if I ended up in the San Diego area. Go check them out!
